I drew the first one a while ago. It took me two days. xD Then I decided last night to re-do it. So I did. The second drawing took me about 10 minutes, but it took longer to color it. Yup. So tell me what you think.
Things I've Edited Since I Uploaded: Added the inside of the ear. Added shading to the scar. Slightly edited the shading on one ear.
Alright, I'll start with the cons first Lets start with the shading. Firstly, I can't really define the intended light source. Lets just say it was on the top left hand corner. The shading with the hair matches, along with some of the body, but the left ear wouldn't match. Do you see what I'm saying? Unless their we're multiple light sources, the shading is slightly wacky. Another thing is that you could, for a more realistic look, define where some of the muscles and bones are on the cat with shading. For example, on the shoulder you could add shading and highlights, to define where the shoulder muscle is. Now, one more thing is that you could've also added a little shading underneath the scar/on it, too. You don't want to go overboard with it, just a little. A couple last things you could've done: You could've added the inside of the ear. You forgot it! And, it looks like the front legs are floating a bit. They need to be slightly more pressed up against the ground. And, the fluffiness on the edges of the face (I think you know what I mean) don't have to be flowing this way and that so much. All I'm saying is, don't exaggerate the fluffy curls on the face so much. Pros! ^^ I see you've added shading! It looks nice and adds some depth to the picture ^^ Also, I like how the back is arched. It looks a little more delicate and cat-like And, the head is places very well compared to the last one. The eyes looks so much better, too, and I'm liking the look of the tail, too. Well, all in all, you're improving faster than the speed of light and should keep up the great work ^^ Ps. The only reason I put your originality rating so low is because she/he is just sitting. But when it comes to drawing a picture again, you have to keep the form, so don't take it personally)
